Frequently asked questions
How many hours do tanning lamps last?
Most salon lamps are rated by their maker somewhere in the hundreds of hours, often 800 to 1,000, and the useful output falls well before the rating. Enter your lamp's rated life from the lamp box or data sheet. If you do not know it, the tool defaults to 800 hours and tells you so.
Why relamp as a full set?
Lamps lose output steadily as they age. Replacing only the dark ones gives you bright stripes next to tired lamps and a tan that does not match from bed to bed. A full set resets output and lets you track hours as one number.
Will you send me reminders?
Yes. Enter your email and the tool sends your schedule to us with your numbers. You get a confirmation now and a reminder before each bed is due. Lamps are quoted by model, and we install them if you want.
