Tanning Bed Tools, From the Technician

Four tools built from 35 years of service calls, free to use. They will not fix a bed for you, but they will tell you where to look first, when to relamp, what to hand your electrician, and what a new salon actually costs to equip. When you need the truck or a technician on video, every tool ends with the phone number.

Make the sheet New salonsSalon Estimator
Beds, new or used, stand-ups, red light and the electrical. A realistic equipment range for your salon before you sign a lease.
Estimate my salonWhy we built them
Most of the calls we get start the same way: a salon owner has already spent an hour on a forum, a parts site has already sold them something, and the bed is still down. The tools put the first twenty minutes of a service call online, in the order Stan Pope actually works a bed. If the answer is a fifteen-dollar starter, you will know before you call. If it is a ballast or a board, you will know that too, and the call goes faster.
Frequently asked questions
Are the tools free?
Yes. The Bed Doctor, Relamp Scheduler, Electrician Spec Sheet and Salon Estimator are free to use, with no account. They run in your browser and nothing is stored unless you choose to send us a form.
Can a tool replace a technician?
No. The tools tell you where to look, what to budget and what to hand your electrician. When a bed needs hands on it, call (248) 545-5577 in Michigan or book a video session anywhere in the US.
Who built these?
Sun Systems and Service, the Michigan tanning bed technician since 1990. The logic in the Bed Doctor and the spec sheet is the same sequence Stan Pope uses on a service call, written down.
When the tool says call, call.
Michigan on-site, 7 days. Video sessions anywhere in the US.
