Ergoline Tanning Bed Parts by Request

Replacement tanning bed components laid out on a workbench

Ergoline is the German commercial tanning brand of the JK Group, and for decades it has been the premium bed in a lot of American salons. The brand came to the United States in the late 1980s and was long based in Jonesboro, Arkansas, with manufacturing since consolidated to Germany. Ergoline beds are built to a high standard and carry a lot of technology: high pressure facial lamps, electronic ballasts, multi-zone controls, body fans, audio and climate features depending on the model. That makes them excellent to tan in and more involved to keep running. Sun Systems & Service has serviced Ergoline equipment across Michigan for most of our 35 years. We source Ergoline parts by request, including for older and discontinued models, and we install in Michigan or ship nationwide after a video session.

Ergoline owners: the error code on the display is the first thing we ask for. Photograph it along with the model plate and send both. It shortens the diagnosis considerably.

What Ergoline beds are known for

Build quality and features. Ergoline lay-down beds and stand-up booths typically combine standard body lamps with high pressure facial units behind filter glass, electronic ballasts, a control panel with diagnostics and a 220 volt electrical requirement sized to the model. The parts conversation is wider than on a simple home bed: facial lamps and their filters have their own schedule, ballasts are electronic and model-specific, and the control electronics are the most involved part of any repair. Acrylics are formed to each model and the gas springs carry a heavy canopy.

We service and source parts for Ergoline beds

Current models and the older generations still in Michigan salons. Relamps with matched body and facial lamps, filter glass, electronic ballasts, gas springs, acrylics, fans and the boards and panels behind the display. Older Ergoline models are supported by a deep parts ecosystem and we have the relationships to reach it. Where a part is no longer made, we tell you up front and talk through the options. Nothing on an Ergoline is ordered until it is confirmed against the plate and the symptom.

Finding the model and serial plate

Ergoline beds carry a type plate with the model, serial number, voltage, frequency and power rating. On lay-down beds, look at the end of the base or on the base frame below the bench acrylic. On stand-up booths, check inside the entry or low on the rear. The control panel also shows the model on many units at power-up. Photograph the plate and any error code on the display and send both with your request.

Common Ergoline part requests

  • Lamps. Full relamps as a matched set, with the code confirmed against the bed's own requirement rather than against the model name.
  • Acrylics. Bench and canopy sheets, matched to the model and production year, since dimensions changed across years on many lines.
  • Gas springs. Canopy shocks matched by length, force and fitting. Replaced in pairs.
  • Ballasts. Magnetic and electronic, matched to the lamp class and voltage.
  • Starters. Sized to the lamp wattage, included with every relamp.
  • Timers. In-bed timers, remote timers and control boards.
  • Fans and cooling parts and electrical parts such as contactors, lamp holders and cords.

Michigan and nationwide

In Michigan we come to the salon or the home, install the part and test the bed at full output. We have served hundreds of Michigan salons since 1990 and we are open 7 days, 9 to 6. Outside Michigan, book a virtual repair session: Stan looks at the bed on your phone, names the part, we ship it, and he walks you through the install on a follow-up call. Buying a used bed of this brand? A video inspection before you pay tells you what it will need.

Request a Ergoline part

Send the model, the part and your city. Stan confirms the part against the bed and quotes it, usually the same day.

A clear photo of the model plate and of the part itself saves a round of questions. Reply to the confirmation email with both.

Have a Ergoline bed that is down

Call with the model and what it is doing. Stan has worked on this brand for decades and will tell you where to start.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work on Ergoline tanning beds?

Yes. We have serviced Ergoline lay-down beds and stand-up booths across Michigan for decades, including relamps with matched body and facial lamps, electronic ballasts, acrylics, gas springs, fans and control electronics. Outside Michigan we work by video session and ship parts.

Can you get parts for an older Ergoline model?

Usually. Ergoline has a deep parts supply and many older models remain supportable. Boards and panels are the most model-specific items and we confirm availability before anything is ordered. If a part is no longer made, we tell you and talk through the options.

How often do Ergoline facial lamps need replacing?

High pressure facial lamps have their own rated life, shorter than the body lamps in hours, and the filter glass in front of them needs inspection at each change. Check the bed's hour counter against the lamp rating. We replace facial lamps and filters as part of a relamp or on their own schedule.
