Model and Manual Index
Tanning Bed Models We Service

This is the working index of tanning bed makes and models that come through Sun Systems & Service. We service every make and model, including beds whose manufacturers closed years ago. For most of the beds below we have the owner's manual and the wiring diagram on file, kept from 35 years of service calls, and we will walk you through what you need on the phone or on a video session: the correct lamp code, the breaker and wire size, the timer setup, which contactor feeds which bank of lamps. We do not host or email manufacturer manuals. They are the manufacturers' property. We work from our copy, with you, until the question is answered.
How to use this page
Brands are listed by family. Under each brand is a short note on the line and a list of the model families and specific models we have on file or have serviced. Where a brand has its own parts page, the heading links to it. Where a note gives a lamp count or voltage, that is the factory configuration; beds get relamped and rewired over 20 years, so we confirm against your plate before anything ships. Brands marked as defunct are no longer manufactured. Parts for those are by request through parts by request, and some are sourced as compatible replacements rather than original stock.
Ergoline
JK-Ergoline of Germany is the largest commercial tanning equipment maker in the world and the bed most Michigan salons run as their top level. The line spans 20-minute Classic and Passion models through 10-minute Prestige and Open Sun high-pressure units, plus the Sunrise stand-ups. Ergoline control boards, Temptronic cooling and facial tanner electronics are specific to each generation, so the model number on the plate matters more here than on any other brand.

ETS
ETS of Indianapolis built the SunStar, StarPower, Sundome, Solaris and Solarforce commercial lines, along with the SunQuest and SunVision beds sold under the Wolff name. The Alpha lay-downs run three-phase 230 volt power in the larger sizes, and the Tower stand-ups are among the most common booths in newer Michigan salons. KBL beds are heavily electronic, so the control board revision matters when sourcing parts.

Wolff and the Wolff-lamp residential lines
Wolff is a lamp and licensing name as much as a bed name. Wolff System lamps shipped in beds from many builders, and the Wolff name is on the residential SunQuest, SunFire, Sunmaster, Solar Storm and Solar Wave lines sold through catalogs and home-fitness dealers. Most of these run on a standard 120-volt household circuit, which is why they are the beds we see in basements across Oakland and Macomb counties. The commercial Solar Storm and SunFire 32X versions run on 220 volts.
- SunQuest Pro 16SE. 8 lamps in the canopy and 8 in the bench, 120 volt, 30 minute.

SunVision and SunQuest family
SunVision was the step-up residential and light-commercial line built by ETS and sold with Wolff lamps. The Pro 28LX is the one we see most. LX means the longer tunnel-style canopy; LE is the economy version; the F or 2F suffix means one or two high-pressure facials; T means a turbo side tanner. Acrylics changed between the 1998 and 1999 model years, so the year on the plate matters when ordering a sheet.

It is one of the few makers with a current 120-volt bed, the Jade, which makes it a common residential choice. Older ProSun 2400 through 3000 series and Lumina beds are still in service in Michigan salons.

Not here? We work on every make and model, and we have documentation on makes that did not fit on this page, from Perfect Sun and Puretan to Dr. Kern and Sonnenbraune. Send the request below with whatever the plate says.
How to find your model
Every bed carries a data plate with the manufacturer, model, serial number, voltage and amperage. On lay-down beds look at the end cap of the base, on the inside wall of the base near the lamp ends once the canopy is up, or along the rear edge of the canopy. Stand-up booths usually carry it inside the door frame or low on the back panel. European beds often have a second label near the main power entry. If the plate is painted over or gone, a photo of the whole bed, the timer face and a lamp end label identifies most beds; the model name is also often molded or printed on the canopy shroud or the end caps. Older Wolff-lamp residential beds sometimes have only a sticker under the bench acrylic.
Ask for the manual or wiring diagram
Tell us the make and model and what you are after: the manual, the wiring diagram, the correct lamp code or a part. Stan checks the file and gets back to you, usually the same day, 9 to 6, seven days a week, with what we have on hand and how to get the information you need. In Michigan that is often an on-site visit. Anywhere in the US it is a video session where we go through the diagram together while you are at the bed.
Rather talk it through
Call with the make, model and what the bed is doing. Stan pulls the file while you are on the line.
Call (248) 545-5577Frequently asked questions
Do you have manuals for discontinued tanning beds?
For most of them, yes. Thirty-five years of service calls means we kept the owner's manual and wiring diagram for nearly every bed we have worked on, including makes that closed years ago. Tell us the make and model and we will check the file.
Can you send me the PDF of my tanning bed manual?
No. The manuals are the manufacturers' property and we do not copy or distribute them. What we do is work from our copy with you. On the phone or on a video session we read you the lamp code, the breaker size, the timer settings or the wiring run you need, and we stay on until the question is answered.
What if my tanning bed model is not listed?
Send the request anyway. This page is an index, not a limit. We service every make and model, and the list grows as salons and homeowners ask about beds we have not written up yet. A photo of the data plate gets us started.
Do you service residential tanning beds?
Yes. Residential 120-volt beds from Wolff, ESB, SunQuest, SunFire, Sunmaster, Solar Storm and ProSun are a regular part of the work. In Michigan we come to the house. Outside Michigan we diagnose by video and ship the part.
