ESB Tanning Bed Parts by Request

ESB Enterprises is one of the largest names in American-made residential tanning equipment. The company builds a wide line of home beds, from compact 16 lamp units to large 30 lamp and higher beds, plus stand-up booths and red light systems, and its beds show up in Michigan homes, home gyms and small salons by the hundreds. Sun Systems & Service has serviced ESB beds for decades. We source ESB tanning bed parts by request, including for older and discontinued models, and we install them in Michigan or ship them nationwide after a video session.
What ESB beds are known for
ESB built its line around the home user: beds that run on a standard dedicated 120 volt circuit in the smaller models, 220 volt in the larger ones, with simple in-bed timers, standard T12 lamps and a long run of models that share many components. The model names change over the years but the underlying parts often carry across several of them, which helps when a specific model is discontinued. Acrylics and some timer panels are where the model and year matter most.
We service and source parts for ESB beds
Current models and the older ones still earning in basements across Michigan. Relamps are the most common request, followed by gas springs and acrylics. We also handle the electrical faults that come with a bed that has been moved a few times: a chafed cord, a loose lamp holder, a timer that no longer starts the bed. If it is an ESB and it tans, we can work on it.
Finding the model and serial plate
On ESB lay-down beds, look at the end of the base or inside the base near the lamp ends after lifting the bench acrylic. On stand-up units, look inside the door opening or low on the back panel. The plate lists the model, serial number, voltage and amps. have a photo ready with your request. If the plate is missing, a photo of the whole bed, the timer and a lamp end label usually identifies it.
Common ESB part requests
- Lamps. Full relamps as a matched set, with the code confirmed against the bed's own requirement rather than against the model name.
- Acrylics. Bench and canopy sheets, matched to the model and production year, since dimensions changed across years on many lines.
- Gas springs. Canopy shocks matched by length, force and fitting. Replaced in pairs.
- Ballasts. Magnetic and electronic, matched to the lamp class and voltage.
- Starters. Sized to the lamp wattage, included with every relamp.
- Timers. In-bed timers, remote timers and control boards.
- Fans and cooling parts and electrical parts such as contactors, lamp holders and cords.
Michigan and nationwide
In Michigan we come to the salon or the home, install the part and test the bed at full output. We have served hundreds of Michigan salons since 1990 and we are open 7 days, 9 to 6. Outside Michigan, book a virtual repair session: Stan looks at the bed on your phone, names the part, we ship it, and he walks you through the install on a follow-up call. Do you work on ESB home tanning beds?
Yes. ESB residential beds are one of the most common beds we see in Michigan homes. We relamp them, replace acrylics and gas springs, fix electrical faults and move them when a house is sold. Outside Michigan we handle them by video session and ship the parts.
Can you get parts for a discontinued ESB model?
Usually. ESB has used common components across many models and years, so lamps, starters, ballasts, shocks and electrical parts are typically available. Acrylics depend on the model and year and we match them from the plate and measurements.
What circuit does an ESB tanning bed need?
It depends on the model. Smaller ESB beds run on a dedicated 120 volt circuit, usually 20 amps. Larger beds need a dedicated 220 volt circuit. The model plate states the exact voltage and amperage. A bed on a shared or undersized circuit trips breakers and shortens ballast life.
